วันที่ 27 ตุลาคม 2566 รองศาสตราจารย์ธีรวัฒน์ หังสพฤกษ์ คณบดีคณะวิทยาการจัดการ เป็นประธานเปิดงานประชุมสัมมนาการวิจัยระดับนานาชาติครั้งที่8 : 8th International Research Symposium ภายใต้หัวข้อ “The Shift towards Sustainability in Business” ผ่านระบบ Hybrid เพื่อสนับสนุนกระบวนการแลกเปลี่ยนเรียนรู้และสร้างความร่วมมือระหว่างมหาวิทยาลัยเครือข่ายสถาบันอุดมศึกษาในต่างประเทศ โดยมีการนำเสนอโครงงาน และผลงานวิจัย ของนักศึกษาในระดับปริญญาตรีและบัณฑิตศึกษา คณะวิทยาการจัดการ ภายในงานมีการปราศรัยจากKeynote Speaker 2 ท่าน ได้แก่ Assistant Professor Dr. Anders Granmo จาก College of Management, Chung Hua University ประเทศไต้หวัน และ Associate Professor Dr. Mahmudul Alam จาก School of Economics, Finance and Banking, Universiti Utara Malaysia ประเทศมาเลเซีย ซึ่งได้มีจำนวนผลงานวิจัยที่ได้นำเสนอ 89 ชิ้น, 301 ผู้เข้าร่วม, 28 โพสเตอร์งานวิจัย, 26 ผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิ,12 สถาบันการศึกษาทั่วโลก
สำหรับการจัดงานในครั้งนี้ดำเนินการจัดงานในทุกกระบวนการโดยนักศึกษารายวิชา 478-202 Meeting And Convention Management โดยมี ดร.พัชราภรณ์ บุญเลื่อง อาจารย์ผู้สอน ร่วมกับคณะทำงานของคณะวิทยาการจัดการเป็นผู้รับผิดชอบ เพื่อเป็นการฝึกทักษะการทำงาน ฝึกประสบการณ์การจัดงาน การนำองค์ความรู้จากการเรียนในรายวิชามาสู่การปฏิบัติจริงผ่านกระบวนการคิดและการวางแผนการทำงาน
The Faculty of Management Sciences, Prince of Songkla University, organized the 8th International Research Symposium on Friday, 27th October 2023.
The symposium was officiated by Associate Professor Theerawat Hungsapruek, Dean of the Faculty of Management Sciences, with the theme “The Shift towards Sustainability in Business.” The symposium also utilized a hybrid system to facilitate knowledge sharing and collaboration among all participants from various international universities.
The symposium featured keynote speeches from two distinguished speakers Assistant Professor Dr. Anders Granmo from the College of Management, Chung Hua University, Taiwan, as well as Associate Professor Dr. Mahmudul Alam from the School of Economics, Finance and Banking, Universiti Utara Malaysia, Malaysia.
During the symposium, students (undergraduate and graduate) presented their research projects and works which were commented by international commentators.
It was a great honor this 8th edition 2023 reached more than 89 research papers, 301 presenters, 28 research posters, 26 commentators, 12 international institutions from around the world. It’s a new benchmark!
The whole symposium was managed and organized fully by MICE’s Program students enrolled in the course 478-202 “Meeting And Convention Management” under the supervision of Dr. Patcharaporn Bunlueng, (Program Instructor). This initiative aimed to enhance students’ skills in MICE management, provide practical experience, and bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge gained in the classroom and real-world application through strategic planning and execution.
